Every family has stories they know by heart—and others they’ve never thought to ask about. The childhood adventures. The people who shaped them. The small details only they remember.

Living Library makes space for those stories. We guide and film the conversation, then edit it into a film your family can keep, share and return to.

Each question appears on screen, followed by their answer. It keeps the stories easy to follow while letting the conversation unfold naturally—without needing to repeat the question or get every sentence perfect.

Get in touch

It starts with a conversation. Tell us a little about the person whose story you want to capture — who they are, what you're hoping to preserve, and any special considerations we should know about. We'll talk through the packages, answer your questions, and make sure The Living Library is the right fit before anything else happens.

We prepare together

We can shape the questions after learning a little about their life. They can also choose from a supplied list or bring questions of their own. We’ll talk through the process so everyone knows what to expect. We’ll provide a preparation guide before filming.

Film day

Drawing on my interviewing background, I take things slowly and give people time to find their words. There’s no script to learn or polished performance to deliver. Each question will appear on screen in the finished film, so answers can stay natural.

Editing and delivery

We edit the conversation into a film your family can keep and share, with each question shown on screen before the answer. If you have a particular date in mind, let us know so we can discuss timing before you book. Photo integration and a USB keepsake are included with The Legacy.
